If you are interested in a great day out and want to check out some of our awesome online products we now have a stockist in Lyttelton. Lyttelton is an easy 20-minute drive from Christchurch and offers a range of great places to see and eat.
On a Saturday there is a neat little market and you can get some fresh fish and chips for lunch or dinner. As you wander down the street you will see the Air, Land and Sea Gallery.
Along with some other interesting displays, you will also find a range of our Fischer barometers and weather instruments.
Ask for Malcolm and he will be able to share a story or two about how Lyttelton was affected by the earthquakes.
Cameron from
www.BarometersandClocks.com has also been involved with Lyttelton's historic heritage by helping with the restoration of the Timeball Slave clock through the time of the earthquakes in Christchurch
And shortly the Sumner Road will be opening again - it has been closed since 2011 - when the rocks from the hills above came down in the earthquakes.
This means you will be able to drive through the tunnel and come back around the beaches through to Sumner.
A perfect outing for a weekend drive.
