Dispatch & Delivery Times

We dispatch orders daily to Australia, New Zealand, and the United States to ensure your order arrives quickly! All stock is shipped directly from our warehouse — we do not drop-ship.

Australia

At checkout, you can choose between two delivery options:

  • Free Freight: Track & Trace via Post/Couriers, estimated delivery within 7–10 days.
    • Orders Under $100 sent via Post
  • DHL Express (Highly Recommended): Fast delivery within 2–4 days for NZD $20.
    Please note: DHL Express is not available for P.O. boxes. If you provide a P.O. box address, we will use Post Couriers (AusPost & NZ Post), with an expected delivery of 7–10 days. Rural addresses may also take an additional 2–3 days with DHL Express.

  • For orders under AUD $1,000, GST is paid by us, ensuring no customs delays.

New Zealand

  • Free Freight: All orders shipped via NZ Post Track & Trace courier service.
  • All prices are GST-inclusive.

United States (USA)

  • Free International Freight: Standard postal service.
  • DHL Express: Fast delivery service available for NZD $55.
    Please note: If a P.O. box address is provided, we will use Post Couriers.

Q. Can I track my order?
A. Yes, you can track your order using our Fast Track and Trace system provided by DHL. We will send you a tracking number once it is generated through the shipping service you selected at checkout. If there are any issues or delays, we will inform you.

Q. What countries do you ship to?
A. We ship to New Zealand, Australia, and the USA.

Q. What if I am not home when my order is delivered?
A. If you are not home at the time of delivery, the courier or delivery person will leave a postcard indicating that an attempt was made.

  • In New Zealand, you can use the code on the postcard to track your package on the courier’s website.
  • In Australia, visit AusPost or use DHL tracking with the number provided.
  • For other countries, use the tracking number provided.

Q. How do I get free gift wrapping?
A. Gift wrapping is available as a product on our website. Simply add it to your cart like any other item.

Q. How do you pack my order so it arrives safely?
A. All products are packaged in a box with bubble wrap for extra protection. Barometers and combined instruments are packed separately. Orders are placed in a neutral-colored, fully recyclable cardboard box made from at least 60% recycled paper.

Q. When will my order be dispatched?
A. We aim to ship all orders on the same day if placed on weekdays. Orders are not dispatched on weekends or public holidays; they will be sent on the next business day.

Q. How do I track my order?
A. You will receive a tracking number once it is generated through your selected shipping service at checkout. All delivery times are in business days.

Q. What is your returns/exchanges policy?
A. We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for any genuine errors, faulty, or damaged products. Items must be returned in their original packaging and unused. Customers are responsible for postage charges. Contact our customer service on 0064 3 388 1109 to process a return.

Q. Do your products have warranties?
A. Yes, our products come with warranties. Claims are handled directly by us at Barometers&Clocks. Contact us with your order number and details for assistance. Returns & Courier Address: 117 Conway St, Somerfield, Christchurch, 8024, New Zealand.

Q. How do warranties work for overseas customers?
A. For overseas customers, simply contact us and we will guide you through the warranty process.

Q. What if my order becomes damaged in the mail?
A. If your order arrives damaged, please contact our customer service at sales@barometersandclocks.com or watdr@xtra.co.nz. We will provide a return authorization and a reply-paid address for the damaged goods. Once received and inspected, we will send a replacement order.

Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. We accept payments through Shopify Payments, Afterpay, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Stripe.

Q. In what currency will my order be charged?
A. Your order will be charged in the currency you check out in. Our website automatically detects your local currency based on your IP address. You can change the currency using the dropdown menu on our website. Order notifications may display Australian Dollars, but this does not reflect the currency you were charged.
